Unlike this blog, I updated Scavenger quite regularly (not as much as I would like but it’s not due to lack of trying at least) and a bit has happen storywise.
If you want to check it out :
Oh and by the way, I have a twitter account now : https://twitter.com/CribeilletC
And here we have the most random Inktober ever with Blind, Deep and Juicy.
For Deep you can even witness one hell of a lame Eminem fan art but eh, I’ve been listening to him so much lately that I had to try 🙂
Ok so October is nearing its end, is there a better time to post Inktober stuff ? Probably yeah.
At first, I thought about doing each illustrations around a single theme : Monster Highschool, cause you know, creativity is born from restriction and all that.
Did I manage to keep this theme for the whole month ? Did I do every single Inktober ? No, no to both.
Anyway here are : Swift, Long, Shy and Poison !
Here is the third cover of Scavenger, I’m heading toward a big fight scene, that’s going to be challenging to draw !
Also a peek at the chapter, it was a small one unfortunatly
For this episode of my webcomic, I took a huge step, I totally left Photoshop and did everything on Clip Paint Studio. I feel so lost.
If you want to read Scavenger you can either go on Tapas or Webtoons 🙂
Or you can read it on your phone and tablet trough their apps !
A little fight scene, do I need to say it’s once again inspired by manga ?
To me the best thing with mangas is their onomatopeia. When I have a fight scene or a gun fight to draw, I can’t bring myself to write a “pow”, “boum” or “taratata”.
It’s probably a question of alphabet, Japanese one feels a lot more like drawing than the Latin one and is more angular wich adds the strenght wanted to the picture.
Or it may be because I suck at onomatopeias, by the way, in this drawing, it’s just black scribbles.
